Geoff Jones Geoff Jones A few weeks ago my wife and I attended an open air concert at Blaenafon Ironworks. It celebrated 10 years anniversary since Blaenafon was awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status, preserving the industrial terrain surrounding the town. The concert was a sell out & included Blaenafon Male Choir & town brass band, The Three Welsh Tenors, 17 yr old Sophie Evans (runner up in Andrew Lloyd Webber TV's Over the Rainbow contest) & the highlight of the evening Only Boys Aloud.

Virginia Handy who started the ,Log Cabin Society Of Michigan, was one of my first interviews for Michigan Magazine TV back I think it was 1989 or 1990 she is certainly a Great Lady,She had told me of her welsh background and we had some pretty common ground.Thank you.God Bless.Dell Vaughan
