Fydda i ddim yn ymweld a blog y Tori o Ynys Mon, Paul Williams ag y byddwn i,
ond mi gefais gip ddoe. Yr hyn aeth a fy sylw oedd y blogiad ffuantus braidd
yma.
Rwan mae Paul yn honni mai rhywun arall anhysbys sydd wedi 'sgwennu'r darn, ac os ydi o'n dweud hynny mae'n rhaid i ni dderbyn mai rhywun ag eithrio fo ei hun sy'n gyfrifol amdani. Beth bynnag prif neges y darn ydi bod y Blaid yn colli tir ar lefel seneddol a lleol yng Ngwynedd a thu hwnt oherwydd mai pleidiau Prydeinig sy'n gwireddu agenda'r Blaid - pleidiau fel plaid Paul wrth gwrs.
Rwan, mae gan awdur y darn gymaint o hawl i'w farn na neb arall, ond yr hyn sydd yn fy mhoeni ydi'r defnydd o ffeithiau ac ystadegau ffug i gefnogi'r ddadl. Er enghraifft mae'r canlyniad cymharol agos yn Arfon yn etholiad cyffredinol 2010 yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel tystiolaeth o ogwydd yn erbyn y Blaid yng Ngwynedd. Ond mewn gwirionedd gogwydd tuag at y Blaid o 3.7% a gafwyd yn etholaeth newydd Arfon o gymharu a chanlyniad damcaniaethol 2005. Does yna ddim cyfeiriad at fuddugoliaeth swmpus Ffred yn yr un etholaeth yn eth...... [ Read the rest of this story ]

After our successful viewing of Saturn on Friday night, Morgan was
excited about staying up on Saturday night to have a look for himself. We’re
not sure if it was the prospect of seeing Saturn for the first time or the
staying up late that had him excited, but with clear skies it promised much.
Venus was [...]
I put the moth trap out again last night and after a couple of non-starters
where we’ve had no moths at all, we finally had some. Only two mind you, but it
is a start. In the box this morning were: 1x Water Carpet 1x Angle Shades
Temperatures did drop to 4.2°C last night though [...]
Jeremy Hunt should quit over 'hacking advice' email, says Ed Miliband Labour

Today's Telegraph provides further evidence that despite
all the Labour propaganda about the government looking after the rich, there
are many measures being brought in for those who are less fortunate. The paper
reports that the UK Coalition is proposing that millions of mothers who have
chosen to take time out of work will no longer be penalised once they are
pensioners.
They say that at the moment, people who do not work for 30 years do not qualify for the full basic state pension. Under the reforms, mothers and carers will be treated as if they had worked throughout their lives, benefiting them by £2,000 a year:
Mr Duncan Smith said women would be the "major winners" in the reformed system, which will mean that everyone who works or looks after others will receive a flat-rate payment worth at least £140 a week.

the success of viewing Saturn, we put the moth trap out. I wasn’t expecting
loads of moths in the trap as it has been so cold lately, but with clear,
fairly dark skies, light winds and temperatures only dropping to 6°C I [...]
At last, the rain has stopped, the murk has cleared and we had a relatively
clear night in store. I mowed the lawn so was already one step ahead this
weekend and I was able to get out the night-time toys – namely the
telescope and moth trap. Not at the same time of course as [...]
Felly mae'r Blaid am arwain yng Ngheredigion am y tro cyntaf. Mae hyn yn
ddatblygiad arwyddocaol, ac wedi siom 2010 mae'n gam bras arall i'r cyfeiriad
cywir i'r Blaid yn y sir.
Mae'n sicr mai'r Blaid fydd hefyd yn arwain yng Ngwynedd - er nad yw'n gwbl glir eto pwy arall fydd yn rheoli yma - os bydd unrhyw un.
Felly ar ol yr holl hw ha, arwain ar ddau gyngor fydd y Blaid yn 2012, yn union fel yn 2008. Y gwahaniaeth fydd mai Ceredigion ac nid Caerffili fydd un o'r ddau.

The veggies are all coming on well. The purple sprouting broccoli is providing
us with plenty of delicious purple florets that are not only tasty but have to
bee good for us too. The wind isn’t helping the beans at the moment, but if the
courgettes continue as they are at the moment we will [...]
